Subject:Region markers issue

When I delete audio (lets say 10 sec) and then undo the delete, all the region markers (made when the file was recorded with multiple takes) stay in the spots before the undo. Also if I delete some random regions and save the file, SF renumbers the regions starting from 1 on. Is this normal?? SF 6 did not do this.

I don't know about the regions... but that's normal behavior for the markers.
Markers and regions are often hidden under previous ones as well, when audio is deleted.
SF-6? Can't remember that far back. If I still have SF-6 installed on an old PC, I'll try it.

My problem is that I use the regions and its number for finding takes in the recording. When I start editing and save the file the numbers change if I remove region markers, therefore making finding takes down the file more difficult. But as I said the bigger problem is when I delete audio and undo all the markers stay where the cut was.

View the Regions list ("View" menu - Alt+Num 2 ) and delete the unneeded markers... unless there is behavior parameter to change in the preferences menu I'm not aware of.

I need the region markers...I just need them to stay where they are when I delete chunks of audio.

Just downloaded 10.0 and the region/marker issues are gone.
