DVDA Error (Please help)

Kenny Q wrote on 9/6/2009, 11:41 PM
This is my first time attempting to make a DVD with DVDA 5.0 and I'm getting an error.
I've made several with version 4.5 and never had a problem.
This is the error:

An error occured opening a file on the system. Make sure that you have permission to access this file.

You can press the details button for further information.

What is your source video? Is it a DVD-quality MPEG2 output from Vegas?

Mpeg 2 rendered in Vegas for DVDA

Can you offer any clues? Like:

Is the file on a drive other than your C drive?

Do you get this same error if you open a new test project and load a different MPEG into the project? (In other words, is the problem unique to this project, or is it going to be a problem from here on out?)

Are you using music from a source like iTunes which might include Digital Rights Management?

Anything else you can think of.

Thank you for your replies.

The file is not on the C drive. The C drive is almost full.
Could this be the problem?
