Make sure you have the latest version of direct x and
disable all antivirus programs and also try to use direct x
8.0a

Thanks for the info but it still didn't work. I have direct x 8.0 (408.00.0400) and I know you said to get 8.a but
when I went to the direct x page http://www.microsoft.com/directx/homeuser/downloads/default.asp

it referred me to the download center. I did that but the only 8.0 a I see is is 8.0a sdk which is 141MB and
Redist which is 25MB and developer runtime which is 54MB. These don't appear to be what I need, or are
they?

Did I make a mistake putting on the patch from 1.0 to 1.0d from the sonicfoundry site? I got the same error
with both build 90 and 121 so I'm doubting it.
