Subject:Plugins??

Hey I got some Plugins for ACID Pro and I got one that does echo effects. Anyway, I recorded my voice on there and i tried using the echo effects but nothing changed...do i need a better sound card?? mine is 16 bit could this be the problem or do i have to enable it in some way?? |

Hip, Are you selecting any part of the file before you run the effect? Do this: 1. Make sure you select part or all of your wave. 2. Go to either the "EXPRESSFX" menu (in SFXP) or the "EFFECTS" menu (in regular SF). 3. Select your effect. 4. Apply an appropriate amount of the effect (preview if possible). 5. Hit "OK". If you follow this exact process, and it's still not working, try doubling the amount of effect until you hear something. If that doesn't work, write back with more details concerning your problem, step by step. BTW, sound card quality has nothing to do with it. The effect is a software process. Your card only plays it.
