Subject:Window refresh issue??

When I hi-light a file or a portion of a file and EITHER drag it to the workspace to create a new file from the selection OR try to 'mix' with a new file, the hi-lighted area from the old file does not go away.

This leaves me with a file with a dark blue (in my case) area over the origianl file that is hard to work with. This has never occurred in any other version (been using SF since version 5).

Any one else have this issue?
