Subject:Processes & Effects don't work in version 10

I'm not getting any help from Tech Support. I've called and emailed about the issue. No response even though it was promised within 24 hours. I upgraded to version 10.0a from version 8. I open a file and attempt to use a process or an effect (say noise gate). I can click on the icon or use the toolbar. Nothing happens. It doesn't even open the next window that shows the parameters. I'm using XP Pro - plenty of memory etc. Never had an issue with the previous version. Any ideas anyone?

If you uninstalled an earlier version ( which is not nessesary) this is known to occasionally cause problems. If that's not the case, I'd try to re-install SF-10a.

I might want to check to ensure that the window isn't hidden under other windows or opened in a *very* small state in a very obscure part of your screen.

I have had that happen in various applications in the past (though not SF, maybe Vegas?)

I upgraded from 8 to 10 and it definitely works fine for me.
