Subject:MP3 in SF10A Cuts off seconds before the end

I open an MP3. I can see the complete waveform in the editor. Then I play it. Some seconds before the end, the sound stops, the waveform after that point simply disappears. If I save as WAV, the wave file also stops at the same point, playing with volume -Inf db all the way to the end. Any ideas. Its likely a corrupt MP3. But since SF 10A can see it originally - as I open it, it is there, but how can I recover the info? Thanks GUY
