Subject:ACID 3 Pro beta Problems

Been using ACID 3 for over a week now, and I've been
getting a few problems.

1) Splash screen appears the same colour as desktop, Mouse
pointer turns into a black square. This corrupts all the
icons on the desktop and start menu, only a restart will
cure.

2) When using assignable FX and Beat-mapped tracks, system
crashes with GUI fault, this does not happen every time.
When it does crash the performance keeps playing but you
have to CTRL-ALT-DEL to shut down program.

Anyone with any ideas?

Hello,

Sometimes having certain desktop themes enabled can cause
cursor corruption, so if you have them turned on try
turning them off or changing to a different one, also
sounds like it wouldn't hurt to do some system maintenance,
defrag and run norton utilities if you have it.

As far as the other problems make sure you have the latest
drivers for everything ie: Video, Sound, Mouse, and Direct-
X

OK will try that, Have got a Crappy old Banshee GFX card.
Probably wants swapping anyway.
