Subject:Volume???

I have installed Acid and I cannot get any sound to come
out the speakers yet I have Pro Tools LE installed also and
I get sound fine out of the speakers. I have installed
direct X8 just recently which I don't think has caused this
prob as Pro Tools still works? Is it a driver or the sound
card???/

Hello,

If you are using Acid Style (DJ, Rock, Techno, etc) or Acid
Music, check to be sure you have the correct sound card
selected as your preferred playback device in the
Multimedia control panel in Windows.

If you are using Acid Pro, select your preferred card on
the Audio tab in the Acid Preferences, then, one track at a
time, check to make sure each track is routed correctly by
clicking the little number next to the solo and mute
buttons and selecting your preferred audio device from the
menu that pops up. Afterwards, your project should play
properly.
