Subject:kernel32.dll, problems anyone?

Ever since I downloaded 3.0 beta, all my Sonic Foundry
software has been mysteriously and randomly crashed due to
an error in 'kernel32.dll'. I figured that it was Windows
ME and some third party plugins doing this, so I erased my
whole system and put only Sonic Foundry stuff and plugins
on a fresh Win98 SE system. And it still does it!!! I've
suffered massive data loss as a result, has anyone else???

Skyfall,

I can't offer a solution, but I can confirm your results. I
too have suffered from kernel32 problems. If you're getting
the error in the form of an IPF (Invalid Protection Fault),
there's a possible workaround: ignore it. Don't
click "CLOSE" on the dialogue box. Just put it aside and
keep working. The application is otherwise unaffected, at
least on my setup. Give it a shot. Also, could you post
your system setup here? I'd like to know if we have similar
hardware configurations that could be causing the beef.
Thanks!

Regards,
Nick LaMartina
