Subject:I found out how to rid of the Kernel32.dll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have windows 98se on a dell. My dell rep help me rid of
the problem.
Insert your win98 CD or floppy into the drive.
DO NOT LET THE PROGARM RUN.
Click Start. Slect run.
type sfc in the blank box. Click Okay.
Make sure there is a dot in Scan for Altered files.
Click on Settings.
Make sure the last to lines are checked (Changed files &
Delete files). Then click Start.
File changed box will appear. Make sure the Restore has a
dot in it. Click Okay
Restore file should have what ever drive your Win98 CD is
in. ex: C:\win98
Click Okay. Back up box will appear , Click Skip.
Repeat the process til all files have finished. Restart
your computer.

Ya, that helps out a lot of the time if you're having probs
with a particular DLL. Doesn't work all of the time, but
definitely something worth trying.
