Subject:Acid 3.0 Splash Screen Lockup

Was just wondering, I downloaded Acid 3.0 and installed it. When I click on it I get the splash screen and then it halts. Windows says its "not responding". Am I doing something wrong?

Did you download The Direct X 8 Program

yes, I did install Direct X8......?
