Subject:Acid 3.0 Won't Play .wav's!!!

I just installed Acid 3.0, and it won't play .wav's... it says it's not a supported format?!?! What the heck is going on? It doesn't matter if I extract with Acid or with another app, either. Wavelab plays the same files fine, though.
Anybody got any ideas about this?

Hello,

Go into your options and under the audio tab for device type select windows classic then under the next drop down arrow below should be default audio device select your sound card then click apply then should be good to go.

I had already done that. It still doesn't work. I can't figure it out. I tried both the Microsoft Sound Mapper and Windows Classic/ select Hammerfall. Neither works.
