Subject:Problems opening 2.0 files with 3.0??

Thinking of upgrading,

Just curious if anyone has had any issues opening a project created with 2.0 in 3.0

I'd hate to waste a project that took hours to make.
Only to find it'll take many more hours getting it right again. FX settings etc.

Yes you can open 2.0 project, but (yes there is a but), when you open your project you may have some issues concerning some Disk based files (they are readable under 3.0 but it doesn't often open it the right way). I donno about the FX i'm using them only on the 3.0 version actually :).

Hello,

Yes I have had problems opening 2.0 in 3.0 and the effects are not quite right but all I had to do was reset all the volume sliders and readjust, then everything was ok. But also know that once you save a 2.0 project in 3.0 it can no longer be opened in 2.0 unless you either save a backup of it or rename the resaved 3.0 project file to a different name
