Subject:Acid 3.0 audio properties doesn't show 24 bit option...

I'm only able to select between 8 and 16 bit playback. Really weird. Just started doing this. Anyone know what's wrong?

Most likely this is because your sound card does not support 24 bit.

Are you getting a warning dialog? Should say-
"Warning: One or more audio playback devices do not support the current sample rate/or bit-depth."
