Hello,

I have Sound Forge Audio Studio 9.0 and was wondering if there is a way to record multiple tracks of audio, meaning I make my first recording with a beat/tempo and some sound. Then record a second track while listening to the first track so I know where I'm at? I can create a "Sound 1" "Sound 2" etc, but I want to be able to listen to the first track or "Sound 1" for my additional recordings. Is this possible?

No. SF is not the correct type of application fo this. Use one of the versions of Acid or Vegas for this.

You *could* play back you first file in (say) Media Payer, and record the new one in SF importing it and mixing hem together later, but that is really not very elegant or easy. Better to get the right tool for the job.
