Subject:Pitch change, when importing Acid 2.0- projects in 3.0

I have some projects made in 2.0 with a pitch higher then +24 or lower then -24. Version 3.0 does not support this anymore. Can anyone tell me how to get my pitch right again? Is this a limitation of the trial version?

Thanx!!!!

Hello,

I tried it and your right you can only go up to -/+ 24 semitones but if you add effect pitch shift it seems to go up to -/+ 50 semitones when you addjust the effect properties. So try adding it to track effects.

See ya

Hello again,

There is only 12 semitones to an octive so 24 would be 2 octives, that's quite alot of pitch shifting, so why dont you just alter the properties of the loop to a different key or choose don't transpose then, I think you can also tell Acid that the file is longer or shorter than it actually is and get some neat effects by fooling Acid and the loop will play differently and then pitch shift it from that point it will take some experimentation.
but when your done with the file rename the file so when you resave it you don't effect the original loop file
See ya
