ACID 3.0 "Get Media" does not recognize DSL connection -ACID Product Family

Subject:ACID 3.0 "Get Media" does not recognize DSL connection Posted by: billybk Date:6/10/2001 9:09:54 AM ACID 3.0 "Get Media" function does not recognize my DSL connection. I get the message "ACID did not detect an internet connection. Please connect to the internet and try again". The curious thing is all the other ACID internet options work fine with my DSL(Sonic Foundry on the Web,ACIDplanet.com,Check for Updates). It does however, work with my back-up dial-up modem, but who wants to spend hours downloading files when I can download these same files in minutes if not seconds on my DSL. Was it programmed this way to force us to take forever to download? I want my DSL! Billy Buck
