Subject:SF8 asking for .Net framework 1 already have 3.5

Trying to install SF 8. It tells me it requires Microsoft .Net framework 1 point something, but I already have 3.5 installed. In fact, looking at the add/remove programs list, it shows 1 & 2 already present along with a bunch of updates.

Any suggestions as to how to get SF8 installer to recognize it?

Just go ahead and follow the instructions to install the version it asks for. It is OK and normal to have multiple versions installed on your system.
