Subject:Playback delay

I just installed ACID 3 on a new system. When I hit the play button there is a 10 second delay until the audio starts playing. I've messed with the buffering settings but no luck. BTY, this is the only app that does this. Everything else (Sonar, Vegas, Soundforge, etc) playback audio immediately.

Any ideas?

Hello,
I suggest calling Sonic Foundry on this one because there has been somebody else in the forum with the same problem and nobody has been able to help him for two weeks now, And he has the same brand mother board as you. You get 60 days free tech support over the phone after you register your program.

Sorry I have no other answers to help Good luck.

See ya

BTW Rockitglider... Don't you think my issue is not that exceptional ? I'm not the ONLY one having this issue ! This is being a general issue !

Yes Fadengo I agree it's becoming more of a problem and Sonic Foundry should look into it closely

I don't disagree with you at all thats why I suggested that this person go directly to Sonic Foundry for help
