I had ACID 2.0 and it worked fine with my Tascam US 428 DAW, but on version 3.0, it won't allow me to select the 428(If you don't know, which I know you do, this is a USB external sound card basically) as a recording device.... the problem is it records my vocals off time, even if I am exactly on time..?.. I have tried it with and without the beatmapper, and its the same thing, I was thinking it was to do with the input device, and the software not letting me enable the 428.. Any suggestions???

Try this:
Go to Options > Preferences > Audio Tab

Change the Audio device type from Microsoft Sound Mapper to Windows Classic Wave Driver.

Then go to the record dialog... you should then have the specific audio devices on your system available.

Hope that helps.
Happy mixing!
