Since upgrading from ver 2.0 to 3.0 I have the following problem. When adding an effect to a track I'm unable to increase the volume of the effect without adding the original dry volume. If I move the VOL Slider to -inf and then increase the FX1 Slider to get the effect only, I get no effect at all, I only get the effect when I increase the track VOL slider this is the dry and effected sound, I just want the effected signal only. I may be missing something here but this worked in Acid 2.0 but not now. Please Help Brdgs/Dale Nortier |

Your question made me curious. Naturally, I tried it myself and experimented. Here's the solution: By default, any assignable FX are POST-volume. To set them PRE-volume, right-click the particular FX fader and select, "Pre Volume." Voila. You should then be able to do what you (and I) did with ACID Pro 2 to get a pure effects track.
