And the hits just keep on coming... Using SF10 on Windows 7 (64bit). I don't use fades a lot in my editing (voiceover). I just tried to fade out and got an error message. "An error occured during the current operation; Item was not found." Neither Fade IN or OUT works either from the toolbar or the Process menu. I searched the forum and didn't find anything related to this. So, I'm seriously going to have to manually do the fade? At this rate, I'm heading back to editing tape with a razor, it would be faster at this point. Message last edited on6/30/2010 8:00:54 AM byroblesinge. |

In one of my earlier posts I also run into the same error after editing various wave samples for about 10 to 20 minutes. I have to restart SF 10b otherwise I can no longer work on my samples without that error. There is obviously a bug, but what is it? I am running 32bit Vista. |

Temp file location issue maybe ? Try specifying a separate (non-nested-MyDocumnets type) fixed folder - something like "D:/SFTEMP". It is all a bit different in W7. FWIW I have a TEMP folder off the root of a data-only drive, with separate temp subfolders for each Sony app, like D:/TEMP/CDATEMP and D:/TEMP/SFTEMP, etc. geoff |
