Subject:Synching ACID Loops to a Disk-based WAV File

Well, I've been searching the forums and sifting through all the help files and can't seem to figure this one out. It seems like it would be a pretty standard thing that most people would want to do, so I'm hoping that someone here can help me. I'm hoping that the bottom line is that I need to purchase Soundforge. I've spent enough money on software lately to last me a few years. Okay, so here's the deal... it's quite simple really. I have, let's say, my favorite song on CD. I want to add some ACID sound loops to it. So, I save the track as a WAV file and I acidize it, stating that I want to stretch it from 120 and don't transpose. But I can't seem to get any ACID sound loops to synch with it. What am I missing? I've seen message where someone wants to slow down or speed up one track -- which is what I want to do, really -- but there's no answer there. Can someone please help? Thanks! Lance |

um, unless the track you ripped is 120bpm it won't be in sync that way - you'll hafta set that to the proper speed. if you're using 3.0 that's exactly what the beatmapper does.. |
