Subject:help w/ mixing

when i get the drum beat at the right speed, and hit record(to play and sing w/ the drum) the drums stop playing. how can i make the computers music play after i hit the record button. Or, i have already recorded my song w/out the drum beat, and cant get the drums in time w/ the song. HELP....

Recording in ACID is modal. This means that you have to set up recording from the record dialog. As soon as you hit the record button, ACID will stop playback and go into the record dialog. When you hit "Start" from the the playback will start up with the record so that you can play along with the tracks you have in your current project.
