Subject:AAC import not supported?

I exported the AAC audio from a youtube flv flash file. SF wouldn't import this file, yet the marketing docs say that AAC IS included in the formats that SF supports.

MediaInfo states the aac contains the following:
ADTS: 98.1MiB
1 Audio Stream: AAC
44.1KHz, 2 channels, AAC(ADTS)(Version 4) (LC)

I was able to use a freeware program called WinFF to convert this AAC file to MP3 - so the audio file itself if fine.

I was surprised SF could handle the task.

What version of Sound Forge do you have?

I just read that ADTS is frame-based, which may explain the problem.
