In other words, absolute rock bottom for performance, and "Pro 3.0 tasks the processor more than previous revs. Any serious multi-tracking with efx would be useless with a low-end processor like that." Went with an Athlon 1.0G and am expecting an end to these miserable sync, pops and dropout problems (I can dream can't I?).

I suspect that with chip prices crashing and even the Duron kicking the Celeron's butt Intel will deep-six this POS faster than Steve Jobs can say "dump the Cube." Rockit--The Athlon rocks. 200mz front-end bus vs. PIII's 133mz. It's solved all the glitching and time-sucking horrors visited upon me by the Helleron. Power consumption? I'll let you know when I get my next PG&E bill.
