Hey all,

I have used 2.0 one billion times and love it. I purchased the upgrade and have found more problems with 3.0

Help..

My loops are starting to have pops and clicks in it.... During playback and rendering. What gives??? I love that you can put quicktime movies in it, but my audio is starting to suck...Any ideas????

My setup

p3 850 ghz
512 ram
2 40 gig ata 100 drives
windows 98 se
Wave center PCI audio..

Like I said, this setup would run the heck out of 30-40 loops in 2.0...but 15 loops in 3.0 brings the clicking.... I don't get it.... HELP!!!

Thanks for suggestions

Dude, the only thing that makes sense to me is that the increased demands of 3.0 are revealing a weakness in your chain of data that wasn't getting exposed by the relatively undemanding 2.0. Try all the tweaks on Audioforums.com. The PIII 850 should be okay, but not if you're double-buffering, etc. Remember, your CPU is now at the low end of things given 3.0's demands and the tweaks might make a difference.

Hello,

You need to increase your buffer setting in options audio tab that should do it I had to put mine at about .90

See ya

Thanks guys.... I will try to do both.....But why does 3.0 take up so much more resources???? It doesn't do anything different than 2.0..... And I have 512 of ram and Acid says I am using only 27......

I guess I am confused to why this won't work with my setup!

Cheers
