I'm having a kinda funky problem with my Acid Pro 3.0. For some odd reason its behaving very slowly, both graphically and soundwise, until I open any kind of video file (i.e. mpeg, avi). All of a sudden it stops being jerky and runs absolutely smooth. The second I close my video file Acid decides to be slow again. I found this out by accident. Noone so far has been able to help me figure out whats the matter with it. All I know is its most probably not my soundcard because the problem persists even when I remove anything sound related (drivers, etc). My video card (geforce 32meg) is running the latest drivers, but I dunno. My system is a 1-gig AMD with 256megs of RAM, etc, and I'm on Win2000. Could it actually be Acid itself ? Only I havent found anyone experiencing the same problem with it. Thanks. |

What sound card are you using? there are some issues with amd and sound cards and tell if it's PCI or ISA bus card. See ya |

Looks like I figured out.. its having problems with my graphic card running at full hardware acceleration. tweaking it down a bit seems to fix the problem for acid. thanks anyway. |
