Hi There, I have been a huge fan of this software for many years but 1 question comes to mind... If i have a 45 minute audio teaching in sound forge and i want to burn this to a cd, how can i seperate this into 5 minute sections without burning 9 seperate files to the cd. In other words is they a way of adding a marker to a 45minute track and having sound forge to seperate them while burning it to a cd? I was not sure on how to do this and if it could be done so i thought i would ask. Thanks Alistair |

There are a few ways to do this depending on which version you have. AS or SF pro. You can separate it by inserting CD track numbers.. Just add tracks where desired and burn in the 'Disc-At-Once' mode to avoid pauses between tracks, if that makes difference to you. There is also a script to automatically put markers/regions at 10 minute intervals.( the script can be modified to 5 minute intervals.) The regions can be then be converted to tracks. CD Architec would probably be my first choice for this but, AS-10 or SF-10 would work too. I'm not familiar with the versions of Audio Studio, but as long as it supports the Disc-At-Once mode you can do it without any pauses between tracks. I'm sure AS-9 and AS-10 support DAO burns. Don;t know about running scripts. |
