Subject:Extract from CD Hangs

Attempting to extract audio from a CD, Sound Forge Pro 10.0b (build 474) sometimes hangs (only recourse is to kill the task and restart). This occurs after the 'Extract audio' dialog appears and before the directory of files appears. The problem is most likely to occur if I already have a CD in the drive at the time I request the extract. If I open the drive, bring up the dialog and then pop in the disk, it seems to work OK. My environment is Windows 7 (64 bit) Ultimate. When working on a project, you may have need to extract multiple tracks from the same CD. It's a nuisance to have to remember to pop the disk out before requesting additional tracks. |
