I'm looking to uograde to a better soundcard (considering M-Audio DIO 2496 or maybe Delta 66) and their Win2000 drivers need ASIO support for 24bit i/o. Does AcidPro 3 (or other SF sw) have ASIO support? Any other suggestions? thanks, ken |

Acid Pro 3.0 only supports WAVE drivers at this time. Ted |

i'm using a gina24 from echo, and they just released wdm drivers that seem to work quite well with acid 3 and win2k. it's using the wave driver interface and not wdm, of course. but anyway, the card sounds great. shrug. |

Thank you two for the input. I'm a bit more interested in fitting a card to Acid rather than the other way 'round, so perhaps ASIO isn't so important here? I hadn't looked too closely at the Echo cards since they seemed too pricey for my current budgeting, and at the time didn't have W2K drivers, but I'm taking another look. It's hard to find sources for them, any suggestions there? |

I just got an Echo Mia PCI interface for $188 over at edirol.com. The reviews went nuts over it, says it's got the latest converters which are top notch. |
