Hello,

I know alot of Midi issues were addressed in this update, but were any of the performance issues addressed?
I still seem to be having some.

Thanks, Rockit

I downloaded the update and attempted to install it. All was well until it began copying files, then it stopped, said I had "Internal Error 2355", rolled back the installation and said try again later. Of course, I tried 3 more times with the same results. What gives?
Do I gotta download this 20 mb file again over my snail ISP?

Yes, please download it again. It sounds like something is corrupted.

Hello,

Yes Ted I did send an E-Mail to tech support. Could you look into it from your end and possibly get me an answer before the weekend, Pleeeeeese?

Thanks Rockit

Hello,

Thanks Sonic Foundry,

For responding quickly to the tech support.
I was having a problem with the Acid 3.0 update not working well, But SF told me to try uninstalling the older version and reinstalling the update by itself, and that worked good. I can now play my most complex song at default buffer of .25 without any skipping.
Originaly I installed the update over top of the other, I guess it helps to remove that first.

Great job SF! Thanks for your help.

Sincerely, Rockit

Yep, I just checked with one of the install engineers. That error means "corrupt cabinet".

You've probably already downloaded, and are back in the swing. Sorry it had to happen to somebody so groovy.

Yes, I again downloaded the 3.b update and this time the update went through with nary a hitch. This is one of the best programs I've seen anywhere for any purpose. You guys ever think of writing operating systems? "Who's afraid of the big, bad, Bill?!"
