Subject:SF 10.0c update Error: 1603 Posted by: roblesinge Date:12/16/2010 7:14:34 AM My coworker is trying to install the latest update to 10.0c and is getting the "ERROR: 1603 occurred during installation" message. He is currently running 10.0b but anytime he tries to drop a marker in a file, SF closes everything out and gives him a message saying he must update to continue using SF. It takes him to the update for 10.0a, which is odd, because that's already installed. I'll be opening a support ticket, but seeing as that can take a couple of days, I thought I'd post here too. I searched the forums, but only found 1603 errors associated with Vegas and DVD architect. He is logged in as the admin on that machine. Anybody got any ideas. His system is identical to mine.
