Subject:Sound Card Input

I am running trying to run my mixer into my LINE in port on my sound card. When I record thru Acid I can see the monitor moving when I sing but it records nothing. It works fine when I put it in the mic port, but it sounds clearer when its in the input port. Am I overlooking something here? Any help appreciated... Thanks

Make sure the Line input is not muted in the Windows Multimedia Control Panel. Also select in acid line input as you primary Record Input. Also want to make sure your resolution settings are correct on all devices, (44,100, 16Bit).
