Subject:ua audio card

hi
im a proud user of acid and vegas and cd architect. this are the tools that i count on.
i would like more dsp 4 mixing so im thinking about rigging the universal audio card with a vst-dx adapter.
has anyone tried this yet.

Wouldn't do much, the VST Wrapper only makes the VST file work in DX, meaning it makes it a DX file. If you're not using a program like Cubase, well having the UA card is like wasting money... That's my opinion anyway... But the only thing those VST programs do is make the VST a DX plug-in.

the universal audio card has on board dsp for effects that run on the card but not the processor, which means more processing power. the effects are vst (not direct x), so in theory u should be able to use a vst-dx adapter.i just want to know if any one else trid it yet.
