The "unsupported media type" error message generally occurs when a project created is opened in Acid Pro that was created using a different system or system configuration. The project is set to play each track through an audio device from the old machine/setup. Normally this problem can be fixed by opening the project, then, one track at a time, click on the little number next to the solo and mute buttons and select the audio device you wish to use for playback. Do this for all tracks (as well as FX outs) and the project should play properly. After verifying that it does play, save the project and you will not experience the same trouble the next time you open it. NOTE: this must be done once for each project that exhibits the problem you describe. |

Thanks so much for this post. I updated my soundblaster drivers for web streaming and it overrode my delta settings in acid. It would've taken me ages to figure out it was the fx sends causing the playback error. Blended |
