Subject:Acid 2.0 Techno. Error Message:an error occured while starting playback, an unsupported media type was requested. help!!!

I keep getting an error message the states " and error occured during playback. an unsupported media type was requested" I have yet to use this software and looks like i never will at this rate. can anyone help?

It usually means that you are either trying to open
a media file that is not supported by the program
( I am not too familiar with ACID 2.0 Techno, I have
ACID 3.0 which recognizes just about anything. But
your program is a scaled back version, so I would
check your documentation for supported file types)
or you are trying to open a project or file, whose
sample and or bit rate is not supported by your
sound card. Check your sound card specs to verify
what the maximum rates are.
