Hello,
Had been using 4.5 for years and upgraded to V10. In 4.5, When the file played, it kept in the center of screen what was being played. In V10, the cursor tracks to the far right to monitor so you can't see what is displaying next. Is there a setting I need to select to get this back to the center?

Thanks,
Dennis

I believe that is found in "Options>Preferences> General", Check mark the box: "Show the position of the playback cursor" On my version it slowly drifts towards the center. You can also type the " \ " key to center it.
4.5 had a really nice looking GUI and ultra-smooth scrolling. However it did not have 'real-time' preview, plug-in chainer or VST support. As I recall, 'real-time' preview was intro'd w/ SF-5. (The Plug-in chainer in SF-6 ?.. VST in SF-7?

It sounds like you may want to scroll playback. You can do this with the F6 key. Or go to the Options-->Scroll Playback. You may also want to select Scroll Playback Smoothly, although that option made it too blurry for me.

If this isn't what you're after, you'll need to be more specific.

Thanks,
R.
