Hi Folks OH BOY am I STRUGGLING !!!! I have just installed the Sound Forge 10 and am reading the manual. I have also tried to convert mono/stereo channels, BUT, cannot find the file. The manual says "open Voiceover.pca file", located in the same folder as the application. NOW MY TROUBLES start !!!! - I cannot find the file anywhere. I have tried "run" and "search" - but get told Windows cannot find file. I have tried in search with *.pca but to no avail. Help Please - Where is it ???? I feel totally embarrassed, as this is supposed to be an easy program to use !!!!! Cheers. |

"Voiceover.pca" should be found in the main Sound Forge directory. This is C:\Program Files\Sony\Sound Forge Pro 10.0 on my system (Windows XP) but the location may vary somewhat depending on which version of Windows you have. But "voiceover.pca" is not needed to use the program - it is merely an example audio file provided for tutorial purposes. If it is missing on your system for some reason the software should still work fine. Mark |

As Mark stated, the Voiceover file is just a demo file. You can use any other file to experiment with. That said, In the 'Open' dialog, set 'Files of type' to "All files" or "Sony Perfect Clarity Audio" (.pca) Navigate to C:\Program Files\Sony\Sound Forge 10.0/Voiceover.pca. (normally) Or navigate to the above location in windows explorer and double-click the 'voiceover.pca' file. The .pca format should be associated to SF by default and should open with.
