Hi,
I have a project made of about 10 tracks. One of the tracks is a vocal and music track of about 5 bars. OK, well the sound wave is
NOT at the same BMP the drum loop is at, so I'd like to stretch it.

Well first, are there any good tutorialz on stretching tracks?

I manipulated/stretched the wave file in Cooledit, and when I play it there it's very fast, but when I bring it into Acid, it changes the wave
file's tempo? Why how can I not have it do this?

I instead tried to just stretch the track in Acid. I have the track set as a loop. I went into the stretch tab and lowered the number of
beats. This does speed of the tempo which is what I want, however... it speeds it up to fast. I tried changing the "Force Divisions At" dropdown
to a sixtyfourths or smaller divisions.. that didnt' seem to help.

Any ideas on to stretch a track just a bit???

Thanks,
Vmusic

Hello,

Your going to have to realign the markers your self in stretch properties in Acid, that might help. Not just using the drop down selections, but doing it right in the wave display area.

See ya, Rockit
