I’m an amateur videographer and editor and wish to add low frequency audio sound effects to my work to enhance the drama and suspense. I have a library of free and purchased sound effects from Sony and other sources. However, I can’t find any good low audio frequency rumbles and thumps. • Rumble: I use this non-technical term to refer to audio rumbles that might be included during an “earthquake” or “volcano eruption” scene. • Thump: I use this non-technical term to refer a low frequency audio burst to accentuate an instant in time in a scene change. To help explain what I am looking for, I’ve created a 23 second video to clarify what I am looking for. The video includes a constant rumble followed by 3 thumps. There is more in this clip such as wind blowing and music, but I am interested in only the rumble and the thump sound effects. I am willing to pay a reasonable amount (I think) for these sound effects but I am an amateur, not MGM. http://www.vimeo.com/22580285 Thanks in advance for any help, Rich |

There are lots of S/FX sites on the web (pay and a few free ones) Searching is time consuming but has to be done to find the 'right' effect. In many instances I often find it necessary to create one or go out with portable rig and record a specific sound or atmosphere. Sorry I can not point you to the exact sound your looking for.
