Subject:iZotope RX2 Plugins chop a gap in track in SF10

Hello, After a bit of a hiatus - I am again testing SF10 as potential environment for my audio restoration projects (vinyl transfers). I also purchased iZotope RX2 recently and have been testing the "plugin" versions of the RX Declicker and Denoiser in SF. However - I have noticed some odd behavior in SF. A few days agao I loaded a 96/24 audio file into SF. I made a small selection to hone in an obvious click and zoomed in. I then load RX Declicker into the Plug-In Chainer and set some basic parameters. I then preview the possible change and when I like what I hear - I click Process Selection and the click is taken care of...but the process also chops a hole in the file starting where the selection was leaving a gap in the file. I am not in front of the computer right now but was either the Declicker or Denoiser that was doing this. Do I have some option in Forge set incorrectly or is this a problem with Chainer, the plugs, a bug or what? Appreciate it if anyone has any experience with this sort of thing. You might make sure that the Default FX crossfade is zeroed out. Go to Options--Preferences--Editing and at the bottom of that tab, set the Fade In and Out to zero. I'm not sure why it's defaulted on, but I know it was in my install of SF 10. Rob. |
