I recently purchased acid pro 2.0 which came with sound forge xp 4.5. I have a guitar and effects processor for the guitar and also a microphone. How do I record guitar tracks and vocals with drum tracks that I have written with my acid pro 2.0. Is there a way to hook my guitar to my computer(hewelett packard if that helps) becase my intended use with this is as a home recording studio. I s this possible? And what function does the sound forge xp 4.5 serve? |

Hello, I also record guitar to my computer. I use two programs for this, The first program I used is Guitar tracks from Cakewalk. It was only $40.00 and it came with an adapter to conect the guitar to my sound card, and very easy to use, and you can import wave files in from Acid for your drum tracks. But you connect through the line in on your sound card. Then I bought Vegas to record with, and It works much better than Guitar Tracks, Vegas Audio has alot more options for recording, and endless tracks. Guitar Tracks is limited to 8 tracks Hope this helps, See ya, Rockit |
