Force Record to default to Automatic Retake Mode -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:Force Record to default to Automatic Retake Mode Posted by: Kit Date:5/27/2011 9:40:00 PM Is there anyway to force Forge to always open the record dialogue with Automatic Retake mode showing up when making a new recording? Forge seems to remember the last used mode. This is really annoying me as I often start a new recording and if I've been in punch-in mode Forge goes through the motions of recording but doesn't record anything. I've even rebooted before realising that the problem was with the mode selected. I think the default should be automatic retake unless the user has highlighted a region in the window in which case punch-in mode should come up as pre-selected. i find the present system very unintuitive.
