Subject:Editing data points

The following is a string of questions that I submitted to the Sony Technical support over the last 2 weeks and received no response from them.
Sound Forge Pro 10 My edit tool stopped letting me select individual data points. It only does blocks of points that I have no control of where the blocks start and end. The blocks are 13 hundreds of a second each. I have been using Sound Forge for more than 8 years and this never happened before. Is there a way to reset all of the settings to the initial defaults?
I uninstalled Sound Forge Pro 10 from my computer and then reinstalled it from my original CD and it still will not let me edit small section of wave files.
I installed version c build 491 from the Sony website and still cannot select or edit individual data points in a wav file.
Is there a way to reset everything in sound Forge Pro 10 to the initial settings?

Holding Ctrl+Shift while starting the program resets everything to factory defaults.

You may have inadvertently changed the "Snap to" or the "Quantize to frame" in the "Options" menu.
