Well I was running GREAT until a few days ago. I've been running Windows XP for the past month or so and it's been running great. Now out of the blue Acid will NOT load anymore. It tells me that the system is low on memory and I need to free memory to run Windows. I have a GIG of memory and there is nothing else running in the background! Has anyone else ran into this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! Digi |

Hello, You may have a memory chip going bad. Or maybe Windows XP can't handle that amount of memory very well. If you have any utilities for checking memory I would run them to see if any chip errors exist. See ya, Rockit |

Well I popped out all the memory 1 at a time and no luck. Even with a lower memory config and with it down to 128 megs of ram I still get the "cannot start acid" error. I've also tried loading up the original version as well as 3.0b and 3.0c, and the problem is happening across all of them. The weirdest thing is Acid was working GREAT until just a few days ago and it just started giving me this error. Not sure what else to try now. |

Did you do any updates of any other Sonic Foundry programs? Or changes in your Video Card settings? Rockit |
