Free method - place all clips on the timeline, create region for every event and use Batch Render script (Tools > Scripting) to render each region to a separate file.

Another way - Production Assistant, Vegasaur, Ultimate-S, Excalibur... Choose the best for you.

Another free method:
Proxy Stream

Proxy Stream is the best free way I have found to batch render. In the past I have also used Peachrock Veggie Toolkit, which is not free.

When i use .mxf I always render to a single larger clip with markers showing where the separate clips are instead of a bunch of separate clips. Vegas seems to handle this better and i have less errors at the starts and stops of clips. Though with just over a hundred clips you'd probably not notice this.

Also, if you by chance are working with clips that are in cRGB colorspace, this is a nice time to color correct to sRGB.

Proxy Stream does not work with Vegas 10, correct?

No problem with VP10 here.

KCW, Proxy Stream works in 10 but doesn't render clips shot at 60fps to 60fps, works on clips at 30fps.
