I just got 3.0, I tried to create a cd and when the screen comes up that tell you the estimated minutes remaining, it just keeps adding minutes to it, the minutes never go down, they keep going up. I let it do it's thing over night and I finally canceled in the morning when it was at 20,000 minutes left....I have no idea what to do....

I have a Dell, Pentium 3, 1 Ghz, 128mb, cd-rw/dvd combination drive......maybe my problem is how my Acid is configuered, I probably have it on some option that is causing this problem.......?

If you have Adaptec hardware or software on your system or a SCSI drive, download and install the latest version of the ASPI layer from www.adaptec.com. The filename is ASPI32.EXE.

Also, make sure that your drive has the latest firmware.

Anyone else experienced this?

Hello,

Firmware is for your CDRW Drive. You get it at the website of whoever made your drive, It would be a small file you would download, and they (most of them) come with instructions on how to "Flash" the chip in the drive. But I would try everything else first and do that as a last resort if your not experienced with it, because if you mess up, you can render the drive useless.

See ya, Rockit
