Subject:Removing the bass when mixing

Im using Acid 3 for mixing music together. When 2 tracks is running at the same time the there are some problems with the sound because 2 basses at the same time doesnt sounds good. Im using cool edit for removing the bass where its needed, but its a bit difficult so it'll be easyer if it was possible to do this directly in acid. Are there any plug in's for this or how can i do it in acid?

Hello,

Yes you can use the EQ plugins, In my opinion the Track EQ, or the Paragraphic EQ are best for removing bass, they have a preset for this, or you can adjust it yourself. For more info on adjusting see Acid Manual "Track Effects".
